Things have been busy. Last weekend, my computer died. More specifically, my computer fan died. Left unattended, the processor shut down after the heat had fried Ryo-Ohki's memory. That's alright, memory is fairly cheap right now, so I will now have 512MB of memory in there. Then I found out that the fan wasn't what died: the plug the fan went into burned out. This necessitated buying an adapter so that I could connect the fan straight to the power supply.

The bad continued. Trying to get my computer to recognize my Linksys USB wireless network adapter (warning: do not buy these. They suck), I took some advice and informed windows that Ryo-Ohki isn't an ACPI compliant machine, but is instead a standard machine.

Windows didn't believe me. Or rather, it did, but then kept bashing its shins on the walls that it wasn't expecting to find. About twelve blue screens of death later, a major system file was corrupted. Which essentially means I'm going to need to wipe Ryo-Ohki and re-install Windows 2k. Before that, I'll need to pull out one of her hard drives, throw it into Ein, and try to get Jilliko's MP3s out of there.

Things otherwise have been interesting. The Camarilla has been irritating lately. I'm way behind in reporting and plotlines and renown, because I've been so occupied with Ryo-Ohki. I'll have to catch up this weekend.

I have completely gotten out of the practice of going to Aikido. Or doing zazen for that matter. This is very bad, and needs to be corrected post-haste. I'll try to hit Aikido on Thursday.

Renfair this weekend. W00t!
