Nov. 3rd, 2005 12:11 pmBusy, busy, busy!
I agreed a couple of weeks ago to help
jilliko out by working on the sound-board for Ten Little Indians. I don't mind, to be honest: its a pretty good play and the cues, while numerous, aren't particularly hard. Since this is tech week for the production, though, its keeping me mucho busy.
I had a lot of fun at ICC - my ICC blog posts are in the Camarilla community, and I'll stick them into this blog when I Have some time. My PA position is going to be getting more active, I think - Keary has a lot of things he wants to accomplish in the next very-near-term. Frankly, I've dropped the ball for a year now - its time for some really frantic activity.
Other than that, life goes on - I'm trying to re-tool our UI for our reporting tool at work to make it more responsive and nicer. Its fun, rewarding work (somewhat), but it can be a pain in the arse to deal with legacy code: I do want the new user interface, but I'm not necessarily sure I want to break everything to do it. It leads to a lot of testing and checking and thinking to make sure I do just that.
