Jun. 7th, 2006 04:10 pmWe're in the final run-up to Neglect here. Got my contacts, got my costuming bits. Still need to go home get my alcohol, pack, print character sheets, and do all the thosand little tasks that come up at the last minute. Flight leaves tomorrow at 7:50am, which'll put us in Florida at the very early 10:40am. At least we'll get all of Thursday to settle into the hotel before opening ceremonies.
I said I would blog from Eclipse, but I didn't really end up doing that. We'll see if I end up blogging from Neglect.
Anyways, its weird - I once had no concepts for Requiem. All the sudden, I have a PC and another concept besides. Basically a Zen Buddhist who was so very close to answering the koan he was assigned when he was Embraced. Upon discovering what he was, he came to the conclusion that his human life had ended - and any chance of enlightenment had ended with it. His only choice was to act his new role as a demon. Only if he's successful at that will he have any chance of dying and re-incarnating as a human for a second chance at enlightenment. Much angst - might do some writing for it later. Not that I don't already have a character, mind.
