Jun. 12th, 2006 05:53 pmWhat a busy day this has been so far. Woke up late, because I didn't want to crawl my ugly ass out of bed in the morning. Then rushed the (hundred?) feet to work and got to work. Got to catch up on a bit of coding, which was nice, and then had an hour and a half meeting about menu options. Which was not so nice. Blah.
Ah well. Tonight, I have to go help out with prepping for the Dolly Awards for the Penfield Players. I hope they're getting closer to finding a site.
And tomorrow will rock. Tomorrow, the boss is taking the dev group out onto Lake Ontario. In a boat! In a sailboat! And we get to sail! BOO-YA!!!!!!
Oh, and in other news - I reserved the space for Rochester's Game of the Month. We'll be having two venues: Forsaken Friday night at RIT, a Changeling game on Saturday, and then RenFaire on Sunday. If people are interested, the space will be the Hemlock shelter of Durand Eastman Park. Not entirely sure of a rain plan, but it'll come to me.
For those of you who don't know, Rochester's game of the month will happen on the second weekend of July.
Oh, I also found an interesting new book series. His Majesty's Dragon, by Naomi Novik, is somewhat light-weight, but its very tasty. And it combines dragons and the Napoleonic War! How cool is that?!
