Its mid-week. I split my work day about half and half between coding and thinking about how to lead a team. There's currently four pages on the flip-chart in my office about what I'd like to see the team look like and what a successful team would be doing. I want to collate everything soon and use it going forward as a manager; I think its pretty potent stuff. When finished, I may attempt to blog it - possibly not here, though. I don't know that anyone reading this blog is very interested. This blog is really not meant for professional writings, anyways - its more meant for an update as to what I'm doing (both for my own headspace as well as others), a philosophy/thinking space, and a place for my writings for characters (so did people like the Awakening I wrote?)
Camarilla-wise I haven't done all that much in the past week or so. I need to write some Forsaken plot, and there's a scene on the stove for Petrus. Steve is waiting for some information from Charles which I will give him this week. Other than that, things have been awfully busy and that hasn't left a lot of time for the Camarilla. I'm also going to be taking care of IC reg for NERE, which won't be for quite a while yet.
The copy of Something Wicked This Way Comes arrived today, I hope to start reading it soon. I also finally ordered a copy of Book of Five Rings and I'll read that soon. Looking at my desk, I need a few months off so that I can catch up on my reading. And my reading is somewhat eclectic.
I did not make it to Aikido this morning, due to setting the alarm for 5:30 PM instead of AM. I did go to the gym instead, though, so I feel better. Tonight, I will do some writing, some laundry, and possibly some hanging out on IRC.
