Welcome to Tuesday. Or rather, welcome to the near ending of Tuesday and to the near beginning of Wednesday. It will, no doubt, be followed by Thursday.

Things have been pretty good. We went to the Renaissance Faire on Sunday (we were going to go Saturday but we didn't wake up in time. Good thing, since it was apparantly very rainy). It was fun, though the Faire seems to be missing some wang this year. I'm hoping that the addition of their new marketing firm hasn't caused its loss of wang, and that it will return in all its wangsome ways next years.

Work has been pretty busy. We just pumped out yet another release of GenView 2.6 and I've started working on the next release. We're going to be losing one of our programmers in a couple of weeks; I'm not too happy about that, but there was little I could do. He wasn't particularly happy in the position he was in, so now we need to find someone else whose good with building user interfaces. Sigh.

Gaming continues apace. The Caer Palisades scene is filled with email. 134 last month (and most of that over a two week period). I have a couple of scenes to take care of with Charles, as well as his Master Plan. Petrus is officially in-play, though I need to take care of a bunch of background scenes before he's all the way there.

And now, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] gypsychilde, five random facts.

(1) I've been to all of one Star Trek convention, back during the summer of my freshman year of college.

(2) When a babe, I nearly fell off of our porch roof. Oops!

(3) I regret not having taken history as a second major in college.

(4) When I was in grade school, my parents bundled us all up, packed up everything and went to California to try to find a new home. Three months later, we moved to Rochester.

(5) The entire mythos around piracy bewilders me, even as I oooh and ahhh over Pirates of the Carribean.

(6) I despise modern men's clothing with a passion.
