Feb. 7th, 2007 09:46 pmIts been a day. The inspection got moved and then moved back; we're still setup for 12:30 tomorrow. At which point we'll hit a hurdle: either the house will inspect well, or we'll have to re-enter negotiations, or we'll just entirely walk away. Both Jilly and I are very nervous about the whole thing right now; this is scary, scary adult stuff, of an entirely different order of magnitude than we've done before.
In all, the entire process at this point is just making me tired. I am looking forward to this weekend, assuming we make it to Boston; the weekend away from Rochester and all of that can only be a good thing.
Piece of good news, at least; talked to the CEO of the company I worked for on Monday about structure. He wants to pull me, the programmer under me, and another programmer assigned to Jerry (for no good reason) and move us underneath him. I'll still keep my management title (and really, will be doing management since Gary doesn't have time to do the day-to-day management of us. Being under him, though, will give us a very, very clear strategic direction: get Raptor out the door.
All in all, this is a good thing.
