Thursday

Yesterday was pretty busy - I couldn't get more than a few minutes to concentrate on the survey application I'm writing, but I did manage to make some progress despite it. Made it home and played in a mirc game that had some pretty good RP, while I worked on writing a Pure plotkit for the northeast region. I'm hoping to have it done over the next couple of weeks and ready for release.

Today will be, hopefully, some straight work on the survey application - I'm going to work from home this afternoon, after what should be a fairly complicated requirements meeting. Then I'll take Jilly to her rehearsal and attend Aikido. My 4th kyu test is tonight - I'm feeling pretty ready for it, though most apprehensive about the freestyle against one opponent part of the test.

I'm looking forward to this weekend and the Boston GOTM. I'm thinking I should consider making a Forsaken character at some point.

Whew. That was a really hard test, in fact. But I made it through the technique demonstrations and even managed to survive my first freestyle.

Which is to say that I'm now at 4th kyu in Aikido Kokikai. It only took me four years. :P
